About Me

Hello there,

A bit about me:

I'm a climate policy reporter and data journalist. I recently graduated from Columbia Journalism School's Lede data journalism certificate program.

Prior to Columbia, I worked as a federal climate policy journalist with the publication Inside EPA, tracking agency environmental regulations, grant programs, litigation, and much more. I previously worked in local news at The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, running from local courts to protests to ribbon cuttings. I also interned with The Hill covering national campaigns, and served as managing news editor for my college daily, The Dartmouth.

I graduated from Dartmouth in June 2021 with a BA in Comparative Literature, focusing in Spanish literature and Latin American Studies. I received high honors on a thesis discussing exile literature written by Spanish poet Leon Felipe and Argentine poet Juan Gelman.

I am fluent in Spanish, and also have experience working with Latin American immigrants in my Washington, D.C. community learning to read and write. I have lived and studied in Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, Nicaragua and India.

I am most interested in covering climate change, immigration, and education, and am looking for opportunities to grow my data skills.
